The Environment and Society Minor is strongly recommended for all students who are interested in environmental issues or who may wish to integrate the environment into their future careers. can be found under Interdisciplinary Studies in the course catalog.  It consists of 15 units, of which 12 units must be in upper division courses.

For a minor in Environment and Society, take

  • Biology 315 or Environmental Sciences 100 or Geography 370* or Geography 101* (3 units).
    *RAAR required to use these courses for required core.

  • History 441 or Philosophy 332 (3 units)

And 9 additional units from the list of Environmental Studies courses.
